About our church

The Bradford on Avon Community Church has been committed to serving the people of Bradford and neighbouring areas for more than 30 years.

The Church, formerly known as the Bradford on Avon Christian Fellowship, meet together every week on Sunday at 10.30am, please check our diary for the venue. Our members come mainly from Bradford on Avon itself but many others travel from neighbouring towns and villages to be part of our family.

The first and most important priority in all we do is to love the Lord with all our heart, soul and mind. We also love each other as we love ourselves. We are devoted too and love the Bible, God's word to us. And we follow the Holy Spirit as He leads and empowers us.

Our services are lively, Holy Spirit-led meetings which usually begin with a time of praise and worship led by the worship team. We are committed to 'body ministry' and encourage members to operate in Spiritual Gifts that help people in an orderly fashion during our meetings. The Worship Team play a mixture of modern, contemporary songs mixed with more traditional numbers which puts everyone in the mood to enjoy some first class Christian teaching from a variety of speakers.

The Church is led by a Leadership Team and not a single leader which means that every week you will hear different voices and different ways of presenting the Gospel. No two Sundays are the same but what remains consistent is the clarity and unity of our message and the fact that our meetings are celebrations of the love of Jesus and a time for our Church family to enjoy being in the presence of God and have fellowship with one another.

We don’t forget our younger folk while all this is going on. Our Church is full of people of all ages and we are delighted that many of them are young children and youth. All are well catered for and cherished with groups for all the children to attend during the service - and even a play area inside the Church for the smaller tots to be entertained while their parents soak up the Sunday service.
